Tom Santelli is a Portrait and Fine Art Photographer currently based in Albany, New York. His fine artwork attempts to explore interesting visual narratives through allegory and tableau with references to mythology, biology and anatomy, psychology, religion and spirituality, superstition, and folklore.
Tom is originally from New York City, New York. He received his MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology and his BFA from Pratt Institute. He has been a Professor of Art at The Center for Art and Design at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York since 1990.
Tom has exhibited his photographic work nationally, is the recipient of numerous juror’s awards, and has had photographs published in - Photo Metro: Photography in Rochester (March 1989), Black and White Photography, Manifest Visions/An International Collection by James Luciana (Rockport Publishers, 2000), Stone Canoe, A Journal of Arts, Literature, and Social Commentary, Number 14 (March 2020), and The Total Tattoo Book by Amy Krakow (Warner Books, 1994).
